BOILER TESTING & INSURANCE
The Southern Federation regulates and maintains records of all Boiler and Hydraulic Tests carried out in accordance with the statutory Boiler Test Code. Certificates are issued by individually accredited bolier testers at club level following satisfactory witnessing of compliance with the regulations relating to the specific boiler type being examined. These certificates are valid for one year from date of testing and are a requirenent for insurance purposes, which is particualrly important where operation is anticipated in the presence of members of the public.
